Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Education or related field
Minimum 5 years’ professional, collegiate, prep, club or high school coaching experience
Ability to bring business orientation and operational excellence while focusing on student-athlete welfare and maintaining a dynamic work environment
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to interface with a variety of audiences
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced organization
Ability and desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
Savvy in sales and marketing
A superior work ethic
Requires a background check upon offer
Requires a drug test upon offer

Responsibilities

Assist in the execution of the long-term strategic vision and plan for comprehensive excellence in the Swimming program, including the full-time IMG Academy boarding school, camps, and training for teams and professional players.
Contribute to managing, overseeing and following up on the activities of the Swimming program including: season planning, program development, facility planning and utilization, team registration, scheduling of matches/tournaments/clinics, coaches’ training needs and day-to-day client communications and requests.
Partner with People Operations and Athletic Director to recruit and build a team of expert coaches and support staff.
Oversee team training, professional development, performance management and employee retention within department.
Play a key role in overseeing and coordinating the operations of IMG Academy Swimming camps. This includes assisting with logistics, coordinating schedules, managing registrations, and facilitating communication with staff. Additionally, contribute to the development of camp programming and activities to provide a world-class experience.
Execute off-campus outreach initiatives to support the promotion of the Swimming Program, recruit new student-athletes, and positively represent IMG Academy within the community.
Provide each student-athlete with the resources and leadership to develop to their full potential in the sport while excelling in the classroom and preparing for successful lives after graduation.
Proactively establish, maintain and grow relationships within every level of the program.
Effectively communicate with parents, student-athletes, faculty, college and professional coaches, professional athletes, and guests.
Participate in IMG Academy public relations activities including media interviews and speaking engagements.
Work within the IMG Academy structure to address issues pertaining to coach/athlete/parent behavior and escalate to Athletics Director as appropriate.
Demonstrate integrity and character in understanding and abiding by the rules and policies of IMG and all governing bodies.
