About The Position

The Corporate Environmental Sustainability team is responsible for shaping Comcast's overall environmental sustainability strategy and working with businesses and teams across the enterprise to develop, align, operationalize, execute on, and communicate that strategy. The Director, Sustainability Strategy, will be responsible for coordinating Comcast's external enterprise-level sustainability reporting, including voluntary and required reporting, in collaboration with colleagues across corporate and business unit teams. In addition, he or she will work towards developing recommendations and driving alignment on environmental sustainability goals and objectives for the organization as well as identifying and strategizing plans to achieve them. The Director, Sustainability Strategy, will work extensively with groups and leadership at all levels of the enterprise, within the corporate functions and the business units (e.g., Connectivity & Platforms, NBCUniversal, Sky), as well as external consultants. The role requires strong teamwork, project management, and cross-group coordination, excellent written communication skills, the ability to analyze and work with complicated data, and the ability to synthesize complex business problems and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Master's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of annual and periodic environmental disclosure and reports, working closely with various business units and corporate legal, finance, and communications teams.
• Lead identification, assessment, and consolidation of climate-related risks and opportunities across the enterprise, working with other corporate and business unit teams.
• Drive development of the enterprise environmental sustainability strategy together with other team members and corporate and BU leaders.
• Benchmark Comcast's environmental sustainability goals and strategy relative to others in and outside of our industry.
• Identify best-practices for environmental sustainability from internal and external sources and share knowledge across BUs.
• Drive high-impact cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and ensure the team is achieving commitments.
• Manage projects with stakeholders across all levels and divisions of the enterprise as well as external consultants and contractors.
• Develop fact-based solution strategies for relevant business challenges and opportunities.
• Develop and communicate goals, strategies, tactics, project plans, timelines and key performance metrics to reach goals.
