About The Position

The Director Supply Chain 1 at Northrop Grumman is responsible for overseeing the Logistics Center in Baltimore, MD, which includes material receipts, inventory management, and manufacturing kit fulfillment. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of formal people leadership experience with operations organizations.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and executing with urgency.
• Knowledge of earned value, proposal development, and manufacturing metrics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• US Citizenship required.

• Experience with logistics management software and data analysis tools.
• Experience managing large scale warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Create a vision for world-class inventory management.
• Direct the planning and execution of strategic funds for capital equipment and logistics activities.
• Manage financial aspects including Earned Value Management (EVM) and overhead budgets.
• Utilize MRP and planning tools to resolve competing priorities and maintain communication with customers.
• Develop logistics and inventory strategies, including inventory analysis and auditing.
• Oversee site receiving, inventory management, and logistics of diverse product portfolios.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement system leadership principles.
• Act as the primary interface for logistics operations with executive leadership.
• Recruit and mentor future leaders, directing training and promoting engagement activities.
• Collaborate with other functional support organizations to build an integrated organization.
