About The Position

As Director, Strategy & Planning within Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery, you blend deep expertise in business management routines and practices, associate engagement, messaging, content creation and leadership insights. You have a passion for meeting people and teams where they are to ensure consistent engagement across all levels of the organization. In this role, you will partner with the Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery Leadership to plan and deliver strategies to drive awareness of Brokerage’s Technology & Product Delivery mission and strategic objectives. You will collaborate across Fidelity Brokerage, with other Fidelity business units, and the Enterprise teams to ensure a comprehensive experience and clarity of purpose for associates and external partners. Fidelity Brokerage, a division of Fidelity Investments, is dedicated to optimizing, modernizing, and personalizing the self-directed customer experience. The business is focused on providing an industry-leading offering to meet our retail customers’ evolving needs, including our trading capabilities, digital assets, digital user experience and client service teams. Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery is an integral partner in setting Fidelity Brokerage strategic direction and has shared accountability for achieving Fidelity Brokerage goals. Within Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery, the Strategy, Planning and Delivery Enablement team designs, implements, and innovates technology & product delivery business management practices, delivery enablement, associate engagement and executive leadership insights that promote cross-domain alignment, transparency, and scale. It also serves as the central planning and strategy group for 1900 technology associates globally. Our success is dependent on collaboration and partnership across Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery, Fidelity Brokerage and with our partners across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience, planning and leading executive messaging, activities and events that engage teams and deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic technology & product delivery portfolio communications and executive messaging supporting the technology & product delivery strategy.
  • Develop content for leadership forums and meetings, quarterly technology and business reviews and incorporating graphic design work to elevate key messaging and branding.
  • Design and implement Fidelity Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery Strategic Workforce Plan aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate on providing portfolio status and health reporting on strategic efforts and major deliverables; review domain updates to drive transparency into planned and in-flight work across Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery, with explicit alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Craft and tell Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery stories using visual assets tailored to a broad range of audiences and to service multiple business needs.
  • Create consistent messaging, including use of digital platforms like SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams, etc.
  • Make confident decisions based on a wide set of inputs while adjusting as new information becomes available.
  • Use data to drive decision-making and embed data gathering in the work you do to measure progress and inform future activities.
  • Meet day-to-day engagement needs while also creating long-term objectives and the plans to meet and measure those objectives.
  • Actively seek other perspectives and opinions to better inform next steps.
  • Lead others, think creatively, and engage other teams as needed across Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery, Fidelity Brokerage and across Fidelity.
  • Create simple, effective, and consistent messaging and apply the best digital channel to deliver our Technology & Product Delivery messaging.
  • Plan events to engage associates.
  • Create the necessary touchpoints to ensure activities align to associate and organization needs, while simultaneously working independently to achieve goals.
  • Build awareness and appreciation for Brokerage Technology & Product Delivery journey.
