About the role: We are seeking an exceptional Manager to join our Strategy & Operations team. This role will report to the VP of Strategy & Operations. This talented and motivated self-starter will be responsible for executing a diverse array of strategic initiatives across the business, with a focus on areas of high priority for Garner’s leadership team. You’ll be responsible for deploying management best practices and have the chance to learn what it takes to operate in a high-performance and high-impact environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced and strategic problem-solving role, such as prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or an early-stage startup environment
  • A strong ability to break down unstructured problems into their component parts, recommend solutions, and work with cross-functional stakeholders to implement them
  • A combination of a high ownership mentality and detail orientation that has resulted in a track record of delivering operational initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize insights from complex data
  • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
  • Interest and/or experience working in healthcare, with a mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
  • A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a management resource deployed to drive critical initiatives across the business, focusing on areas of high priority for Garner’s leadership team
  • Be responsible for designing and implementing excellent processes to ensure your teams are executing work in an efficient and reliable manner, as well as metrics and performance indicators that drive a healthy feedback loop and continuously improvement
  • Partner closely with Garner’s subject matter experts to quickly build expertise in the areas of your deployments
  • Be responsible for delivering real results – seamlessly shifting between not only high-level strategic thinking but also detailed operational execution
  • Rotate through a variety of high impact initiatives providing you with broad exposure across the company
