The Director of Strategy and Business Development for the 340b program will be responsible for leading a team that analyzes market and industry trends, identifies new partnership-style opportunities or relationships in the market that will improve profitability, grow Rx volume and further scale the 340b business across all channels of US pharmacy at Walgreens. This will require the development of business plans and strategies to execute on those opportunities identified. They’re also responsible for collaborating with and vetting opportunities as well as the implementation of those across cross-functional stakeholders including 340b Account Management and Operations, Pharmacy, legal, marketing and others as applicable. The Director of Strategy and Business Development and their team will also lead strategic marketing efforts including the management of content and materials used to represent and promote the 340b business to customers, partners, at tradeshows and other applicable strategic targets. They will also have responsibility for setting and aligning on the execution of new customer sales targets with the appropriate sales leader and enablement of the team to deliver on those goals for the 340b business. This includes regular review of pricing methodologies, new sales prospecting process and sales target pipeline management with the sales leader to ensure execution on the 340b business performance.
