About The Position

The Director of Strategy and Growth at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is responsible for directing and executing broad business objectives at the market or care setting level. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in healthcare strategy, business development, or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of management experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and executes the implementation of broad business objectives at a Market or care setting level.
  • Drives profitable growth and expansion of services for the market and Region.
  • Facilitates the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of Strategy and growth functions.
  • Provides objective research and analysis to enable informed decision-making for leadership teams.
  • Directs and motivates subordinates and project teams to achieve functional goals.
  • Oversees Market/Care Setting independent Physician Recruitment.
  • Works with market leadership to develop strategic plans focused on market position and growth.
  • Leads business development for key programs and services and supports master plan development.
  • Creates, implements, and monitors business and tactical plans aligned with strategic initiatives.
  • Partners with analytics team to provide objective data and synthesized analysis for strategic growth.
  • Engages with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective deployment of growth strategies.
  • Implements Physician Development/Alignment strategy in concert with leadership.
  • Responsible for physician recruitment process for independent providers.
  • Identifies opportunities for innovative partnerships and models to strengthen market position.
  • Plans, directs, and evaluates the work of subordinate management in accordance with regulations and standards.
