Requirements

Have 10 years of relevant experience in sales and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
Demonstrate a successful track record closing large, complex enterprise or cloud deals, including custom solutions and multi-party sales motions.
Have experience in cloud infrastructure, platforms, or advanced technology solutions, with experience selling into enterprise environments.
Have demonstrated success operating as a senior individual contributor on high-impact strategic opportunities, with direct accountability for outcomes.
Enjoy partnering cross functionally globally with sales, product, engineering, legal, and partner teams.

Responsibilities

Owning the pursuit and closure of large, complex strategic deals with full accountability for deal strategy, execution, and outcomes.
Applying knowledge of the GPU and inference cloud ecosystem to position and sell advanced compute solutions.
Leading complex, cross-functional deal teams by orchestrating stakeholders across sales, product, engineering, legal, finance, and partner organizations.
Influencing and partnering in a matrixed sales organization, supporting multi-region deal activity.

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $263,800 - $547,800/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary.
The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
