About The Position

Director of Strategic Insights is an integral part of the Brand Strategy team shaping the future of our Brand. Proactively assess our current landscape and the broader marketplace, leading a high-performing team, to unlock new growth opportunities. Through rigorous analysis, creative insight development, and collaborative partnerships, the Strategic Insights Director will validate and evolve our strategic direction. The work of this position will ensure our organization remains agile, competitive, and poised to sustainable success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail business or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience at the Manager level or above with direct experience in providing consultation to business leaders.

  • Experience in retail strategy, management consulting, or organizational planning
  • Deep understanding of organizational dynamics and strategic planning cycles
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be a critical member of the team that champions a dynamic, integrated strategic planning process that aligns all business initiatives with our Brand's vision and growth ambitions.
  • Lead the development of predictive analytics and strategic frameworks to inform decision-making and spark innovative thinking.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor, ensuring leadership teams are equipped with the guidance and information needed for decisive action.
  • Provide clear strategic direction, building consensus and momentum for initiatives that drive profitable growth and organizational alignment.
  • Identify and communicate the most critical metrics for evaluating strategic initiatives and their implications for customers and categories.
  • Explore and implement advanced analytical tools and methodologies, elevating the value and visibility of business intelligence across the Brand.
  • Synthesize diverse business intelligence to illuminate strategic challenges, dilemmas, and breakthrough opportunities.
  • Construct macro-economic models to interpret market trends, performance drivers, and emerging opportunities at regional scale.
  • Facilitate regular leadership reviews to track progress, adapt plans, and celebrate milestones.
  • Forge strong, trust-based relationships with leadership and cross-functional partners to accelerate strategic outcomes.
  • Craft and communicate compelling strategic narratives that articulate actionable insights and provide clarity across all organizational levels.
  • Design and evaluate growth strategies for our operating area with an eye toward innovation and impact.
