Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine As the Director of Strategic Insights and Analytics, you will be at the forefront of integrating powerful insights and analytics for the Portfolio, Strategy, & Execution team. This crucial role involves analytics and market research, and translating this wealth of information into actionable strategies that will make a tangible impact on our business. You will be the driving force behind turning data into growth opportunities. This position will partner closely with brand or franchise leadership and serves as a strategic consultant to the Sales & Marketing team and senior franchise leaders. This position plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development of new and existing business strategies and as a result, shares accountability for business results.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have at least 10 years of practical business experience in marketing, finance, business analytics, management consulting or related fields.
  • Diversity of experience is preferred, with demonstrated learning agility to be able to move across different types of markets.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus.
  • Business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence company/franchise level decisions and strategies are required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of people management experience is required in addition to a proven track record with talent development and empowering an accountable team.
  • Candidates must have a broad perspective on management, a strong grasp of business knowledge, and the capacity to think strategically.
  • Proven analytical skills and learning agility to coach and train colleagues across multiple functions required.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate and leverage insights and analytics required.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions required.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree desirable

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance for execution insights and opportunities for Portfolio, Strategy, & Execution team, focusing specifically on the Key Account Managers (KAMs), Oncology Clinical Educator (OCE) teams, and Area Business Specialist (ABS) teams.
  • Lead efforts in connecting brand strategies across the Hematology and Solid tumor Oncology franchises to KAM, OCE, and ABS execution opportunities
  • Integrate analytics from various sources to evaluate marketing and field based tactics.
  • Develop top-notch dashboards to uncover patterns and trends for long-term business success.
  • Apply Innovation capabilities, including A.I., to drive impact in areas like account centered insights and analytics.
  • Collaborate in designing brand and franchise strategies for sales optimization and field reporting.
  • Determine optimal analytic approaches considering resources and project goals.
  • Champion the development of innovative research and analytics methods.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and assess their impact on business strategies.
  • Lead talent strategy, including acquisition, development, and performance management.
  • Inspire and empower the team to excel with speed, agility, and accountability.
  • Cultivate meaningful internal and external partnerships to uncover important needs.
  • Promote a culture based on organizational values and serve as a role model for decision-making.
