About The Position

Kyowa Kirin is a fast-growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that applies state-of-the-art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines in four disease areas: bone and mineral; intractable hematologic; hematology oncology; and rare disease. A Japan-based company, our goal is to make people smile by delivering breakthroughs where no adequate treatments currently exist, working from drug discovery to product development and commercialization. In North America, we are headquartered in Princeton, NJ, with offices in California, Massachusetts, and Ontario. Please note: This is not a remote position. Candidate will be expected to work onsite twice a week in the Princeton, NJ office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years' experience leading cross-functional teams with diverse experience in marketing leadership, sales leadership, or operations leadership roles within the pharma/biotech market.
  • Knowledge of best practices, business processes, and commercial systems across the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Insightful understanding of regulatory, legal, and requirements for pharmaceutical marketing.
  • Proven track record of building, leading, and driving business process transformation in organizational effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to seek diverse input from multiple stakeholders to make highly complex decisions and drive innovative solutions.
  • Project Management experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Rare Disease and Oncology experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, and Veeva/Salesforce CRM Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives related to North America Strategy.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to ensure that initiatives are aligned with the company's objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in the planning and implementation of project workstreams.
  • Ensure all teams are aligned and working towards common goals, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across functions.
  • Serve as a Working Group Lead.
  • Create and implement a project charter, scorecard, KPI monitoring and evaluation.
  • Organize cross-functional team that evaluates strategic initiatives as directed by the President.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, ensuring that the company's processes are at the forefront of industry best practices.
