About The Position
The Director of Strategic Initiatives at NextEra Energy will lead internal strategy projects and ongoing development across the enterprise. This role involves creating bi-monthly Board presentations and annual strategy presentations for executives and the Board of Directors, driving strategic growth and transformation across all business units. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership, develop cross-functional relationships, and lead the investigation, design, and execution of growth initiatives. Based in Juno Beach, FL, the Director will partake in key business decisions, design overall strategy, mentor talent, and enhance corporate strategy processes. Responsibilities include collaborating with leaders to identify business issues, conducting independent analysis, developing execution steps, and presenting solutions to leadership. The role also involves coordinating quarterly strategy sessions, developing annual strategy presentations with the CEO, conducting financial analyses, and evaluating strategic initiatives using various quantitative methods.Job OverviewThis position is responsible for using business management consulting skills to work with internal clients through all stages of strategy-based transformation engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 10+ years
- Supervisor/Management Experience: 4+ years

Responsibilities
- Providing thought leadership and execution support on client assignments to craft strategy and then refocus an organization on making that strategy a reality
- Consulting with clients to identify, clarify, and solve problems critical to clients' strategic and operating success by developing insight, conducting independent analysis, and working with clients to assure assignment progress
- Developing conclusions and recommendations, writing reports, assisting in client presentations and providing implementation assistance as required
- Presenting to senior executives
- Constructing the analytical framework and work steps for each assignment, and leading the problem solving associated
- Conducting both client and market development to grow the business
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
