About The Position

The Director of Strategic Finance & Corporate FP&A at CoreWeave is a pivotal leadership role responsible for guiding the company's financial strategy and enhancing its financial planning and analysis capabilities. This position requires extensive experience in a high-growth tech startup environment and involves collaboration with executive leadership to inform decision-making and strategic planning. The role encompasses executive reporting, financial planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, tool optimization, forecasting, comprehensive financial reporting, strategic project support, KPI development, and process improvement in accounting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role within a tech startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting; experience with financial planning software and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong capacity to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building effective relationships across diverse teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in investment banking or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive documentation and narratives for executive-level and Board of Directors financial presentations.
  • Spearhead the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic planning processes.
  • Partner closely with the Accounting, Data & Analytics, and Corporate Development teams to enhance management reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A reporting and planning tools.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of financial forecast models and databases.
  • Generate detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and other executives on high-impact projects, including capital markets initiatives.
  • Lead the development and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work with the Accounting team to enhance accounting and reporting processes.
