The Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations at the University of Arkansas is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive donor relations and stewardship system. This role focuses on enhancing donor engagement through personalized stewardship plans and effective communication of the impact of philanthropic support. The Director will lead stewardship reporting efforts, collaborate with Advancement leadership, and supervise the Assistant Director of Stewardship, ensuring high-quality service and recognition for all donors.

  • Design and implement an integrated donor relations and stewardship system.
  • Manage and oversee stewardship reporting efforts, including customized impact reports.
  • Collaborate with Advancement leadership and staff to analyze stewardship practices across campus.
  • Supervise the Assistant Director, Stewardship, and work collaboratively on measurement systems for stewardship programs.
  • Create personalized stewardship plans for donors, endowed scholarships, and giving societies.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • At least one year of fundraising experience.
  • At least three years of supervisory experience.
  • At least three years of experience researching and synthesizing data for reports.
  • At least five years of experience with communication applications, specifically writing and editing.
  • Strong analytical skills for determining information needs and creating workflow processes.
  • Advanced degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least ten years' experience in development, stewardship, or related field, preferably in higher education.
  • Demonstrated success in applying creative approaches to project development and management.
  • Proven record of leadership and collaborative skills.
