This is a unique opportunity to build and own a state-focused commercial engine at the intersection of business, government, and education. In this role, you’ll design and execute state-level go-to-market strategies, cultivate relationships with state education leaders and existing strategic Magma partnerships, and drive revenue growth through partnerships and policy advocacy within the education sector. As the official launch of Magma’s state-level initiatives, this position offers the opportunity to build a team over the next 12 – 24 months. You’ll combine fast-paced commercial ownership with the nuance and relationship-building required for effective state government engagement. The ideal candidate thrives on building a business from scratch, enjoys navigating the complexities of state education funding policies, and excels at forming relationships across diverse stakeholders—from educators and lobbyists to government officials. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to articulate Magma’s vision and value proposition to state education leaders.
