About the position

The Director of Sourcing Transformation is responsible for defining high-impact, long-term supply chain architecture strategies at the global, regional, and operational levels. This role involves establishing and managing cross-functional, cross-regional teams to design and implement end-to-end supply chain capabilities and system architecture strategies. The director identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement across the supply chain, partnering with management and the extended organization to identify operational inefficiencies and new business opportunities. The position requires developing recommendations based on benchmarking, financial results, and statistical data, and effectively communicating the strategic direction to the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the overall Source & Finance Costing Center of Excellence (COE) framework and key metrics.
  • Lead organization-wide teams of program managers and senior individual contributors to drive strategic development assessment, management, and improvement solutions.
  • Apply industry and subject matter expertise to solve complex supply chain issues.
  • Develop and lead planning, design, implementation, communication, and delivery of Procurement and Finance initiatives.
  • Partner with and influence internal and external stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Drive multi-year supply chain strategies and initiatives at the regional/global/business group level.
  • Develop business cases and financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Recommend metrics to be tracked for supply chain programs and projects.
  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators for delivery, revenue, and margin.
  • Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring annual performance plans, coaching, and career development.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • Direct management experience in procurement execution and end-to-end supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of strategic procurement strategies and operational processes.
  • Experience with procurement processes and master data requirements in SAP / Ariba / Jaggaer / iCertis.
  • Ability to drive transformation of functional capabilities and modules.
