As the Director of Public Sector Solution Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, providing strategic direction and leadership to our Solutions Engineering team. Requirements

  • Located in greater Washington DC metro area
  • At least 5 years' experience in senior solutions engineering or a related technology/SaaS role.
  • P roven leader with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Understanding public sector market trends and hyperscaler product competition.
  • Strong technical background in the relevant industry/product area.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Capacity to train and educate customers or team members
  • Ability to manage multiple-concurrent sales cycles and projects

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a high-performing Solutions Engineering team, including hiring, and onboarding new members, providing coaching and mentoring, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Partner with the Public Sector virtual account team to develop, own and execute the Public Sector sales strategy across the presales technical team.
  • Become an authority in our software and services solutions, ensuring an in-depth understanding of features and benefits to effectively educate customers, gain consensus, and demonstrate value in addressing current pain point as well as uncovering future needs.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their unique challenges and demonstrate how our solutions can effectively address their needs.
  • Work closely with sales, product development, and other teams to ensure alignment and provide valuable input into product development based on customer feedback and market demands.
  • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the cloud security landscape that a customer needs to plan for.
  • Travel - Must be able to travel on a daily and/or overnight basis.

  • The Salary Range for this role is $185,000 - $230,000.
