About The Position
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia to Solve complex engineering problems within Equities, Options trading, and Stockplan domain. Design and development of scalable resilient financial systems. Produce high quality maintainable code. Build continuously testing suite at various levels. Collaborate with other team members through peer programming and code reviews. Interact with traders, quantitative modelers, product team, and other business users. Continuously learn Stockplan business domain. Advocate and advance toward cutting edge engineering practices. Performance optimization for financial systems.
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study.
- Requires four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years as a Software Engineer; Application Developer or related occupation in the technology field.
- Requires four (4) years of experience with the following skills: Java 1.8; Spring Core; Spring Boot; Spring MVC; JUnit 4.0; JavaScript; HTML; CSS; Bootstrap; Angular.Js; Angular 6; Soap; Rest; MySQL 5.2; SQL; Oracle 10g; Log4j; DB2; Maven 3.2.5; Jenkins; Eclipse; Intellij IDE; Visual Studio Code; Spring Tool Suite; Jira; Remedy; Kubernetes; Docker; Git; Gitflow; Docker; Kibana; and AWS (Amazon web services) Cloud; Github Co-pilot; Agile development practices and ceremonies; and GenAi in the software Development Lifecycle.
