About The Position

Salesloft is looking for a Commercial Sales Director to lead a team of high-performing Account Executives within our commercial business segment. This role is crucial for driving Salesloft's continued year-over-year record-breaking sales growth. The Commercial Sales Director will be responsible for coaching the Sales Executive team to meet quota and booking targets, working closely with various teams to deliver against budgeted revenue and KPI goals, and driving productivity and efficiency improvements through innovation and training.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of sales leadership experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Expert knowledge in building and motivating sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan activities for an inside sales team and monitor performance.
  • Highly driven and proactive individual with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Experience as a team-building leader capable of driving shared positive results.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with Sales Engagement Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage an Account Executive team.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Development, Sales Operations, and Product teams.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency improvements for the team.
  • Oversee Account Executives and help them educate the market about Salesloft.
  • Generate opportunities with new customers.
  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth against company targets.
  • Perform regular pipeline reviews and accurately forecast sales pipeline.
