About The Position

The Director Site Engineering will lead engineering, facilities, utilities, capital project execution, and maintenance support for the site. This role involves providing short and long-range capital project planning and execution, acting as a liaison between the site and external functions such as Division, Corporate, government agencies, and other groups. The Director will also serve as a member of the site senior staff leadership team.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience supporting manufacturing.
• 10+ years experience in key engineering disciplines including process, instrumentation & controls, facilities, utilities, and equipment.
• 5+ years people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, facilities, utilities, capital project execution and maintenance support to the site.
• Develop asset care roadmaps to ensure expected equipment and process reliability.
• Set strategy and manage technical resource allocation process.
• Innovate and execute maintenance & engineering solutions that deliver productivity, quality, and efficiencies.
• Attract, develop and retain a diverse qualified staff through effective training and performance feedback.
• Drive a culture of engagement and inclusivity through clear communication and collaboration.
• Design site long-range and short-range capital plans.
• Monitor quality of implementation against overall project objectives.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all functions of the organization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable business policies, laws, and regulations.
• Interface with internal and external regulatory agencies.
• Establish short and long-range strategic objectives for engineering, facilities, utilities, and maintenance.
• Manage contractors and vendors executing work at the site.
• Manage the financial performance of the department in accordance with planned budgets.
• Ensure utilities are provided to site operations at all times.
