Job Description: Director, Show Delivery Job Disclosures: Location: Santa Fe, NM Job Summary: The Director, Show Delivery has overall functional leadership responsibility for the teams that comprise Show Leadership; Show Management, Production Design, and Technical Direction. This responsibility breaks into two main areas of concentration. First, together with the Directors of Production Design and Technical Direction, this role will maintain the current culture and processes, but also lead the development and refinement of new processes, standards, and documentation for Show overall. You will work with these leaders as they manage their own resource loading, budgets, and annual performance reviews, as well as provide annual performance reviews to these Directors. Second, as the direct leader for the Show Management department, you will foster, mentor, delegate assignments, manage resource loads, develop and manage department budgets, and provide performance evaluations for Show Managers and Show Coordinators. On occasion, you will need to be the acting Senior Show Manager on small projects, or early project development before other staffing can be identified. Additionally, this role will administer and functionally lead the Creative Studio Standards development and maintenance process as the Chair of the Standards Committee.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Show management methodologies, and experience managing diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in championing Creative Project delivery
  • Over 15 years of experience in the development and design management of major projects within the entertainment/themed development industries
  • You are skilled in problem solving as well as anticipating changes within team dynamics
  • You hold excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, organizational as well as creative thinking.
  • You possess considerable experience as a functional manager of people
  • You possess an in-depth knowledge of programs as they are used on a daily basis: P6, Planera, or other primary scheduling tools
  • Autodesk Construction Cloud - Build
  • AirTable or other database tools for managing key project information
  • Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine Show processes, standards, and documentation in support of Company and Division objectives through stewardship and guidance of Show Leadership
  • Work with other functional and project leaders to respond to changing and developing needs over time
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the teams and Directors that report to you
  • Provide feedback and annual performance reviews for all direct reports
  • Build high-performing teams and foster a culture of accountability and creative excellence
  • Develop and manage resource loading for the Show Management department
  • Develop and manage the budget for the Show Management department
  • Lead audits, reviews, and quality assurance checks for Creative Studio Standards as its Chair
  • Serves as Senior Show Manager as needed
  • Leverage emerging tools, systems, and technologies to enhance productivity
  • Work with other company partners to audit and develop the database tools used by Creative Studio to manage the Project source of truth
  • Work with other company partners to audit and develop the tools used by Creative Studio to manage the Show budgets and trends
  • Work with other company partners to ensure synchronization between BIM and database sources of truth
