About The Position

The Red Hat Services Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technical Decision Point (TDP) leader spearheads the integration of Red Hat AI Services for key business and first-of-a-kind initiatives, driving the full solution lifecycle in our Americas Services Business. This includes the launch of new solutions, seller enablement, pipeline generation, and delivery excellence. This role works closely with the American Services Sales and Delivery teams, the BU, America's Tech Sales, and Eco teams to collaboratively design and deliver first-of-a-kind customer solutions based on products and services. This role uses field and market experience to design, build, and enable Americas Services Sales and Delivery teams on new AI services solutions. This role reports to America's Vice President for Services and leads a team of architects specialised in AI services. The role acts as a connector between teams across Consulting, Training, and Technical Account Management (TAM) to share thought leadership and standards.

Requirements

  • Appreciation of and passion for open-source software
  • Experience with Red Hat’s technology portfolio
  • Knowledge of Red Hat’s AI portfolio and offerings
  • Successful track record as a leader for senior technical specialists
  • Previous experience as a Technical or consulting leader with a drive to impact the pipeline
  • Demonstrated capability to design and create first of a kind services solutions
  • Strategy Execution: The ability to design and execute a strategy specifically for AI services, ensuring alignment with market opportunities and Red Hat’s overall AI strategy
  • Business Development: Demonstrated strong business acumen and the ability to drive growth
  • Advanced Technical & AI expertise: a technical thought leader who can navigate the complexities of the AI lifecycle.
  • Scalable Program Development: Demonstrated capability to create and test scalable service offerings and scale “first of a kind” initiatives
  • Pipeline Impact: A proven track record as a consulting or technical leader with a history of driving and impacting the sales pipeline
  • Team Building: Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performance teams of technical architects in a rapidly changing technology space

Responsibilities

  • Lead the AI Services strategy for the Americas Services team; including leading collaboration with America´s Sales and Services leaders to understand the market opportunity and close collaboration with Tech Sales and Ecosystem leaders to build the GTM strategy for AI services offering; resulting in clear articulation of the business value of Red Hat’s AI Platform Services offerings to continue to elevate our impact on both our internal and external customers.
  • Serve as the technical and business thought leader for AI services, acting as a trusted member of the Americas services leadership team and in close alignment with Red Hat’s AI strategy.
  • Accountable for the Americas AI services targets and driving pipeline and growth for the AI services business.
  • Design and create repeatable, scalable services offerings across the entire range of services, including offerings like consulting, training, and TAM, in alignment with the various Red Hat teams and the Business Unit.
  • Work in conjunction with key regional stakeholders to understand market trends and adjust and develop appropriate solutions based on those market use cases.
  • Drive the infusion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ancillary technology capabilities into the offerings for Red Hat Services.
  • Partner closely with sales and services leadership to ensure the AI services go to market, align with customer needs, delivery capabilities, and future roadmap.
  • Recruit, develop, and build a high-performing team of technical AI architects who focus on development on emerging technology solutions in AI to field deploy and scale for repeatable sale and delivery.
  • Drive enablement with geo services sales and delivery teams to support AI solutions at scale.
  • Act as an escalation point for difficult and complex AI delivery.
  • Work with regional delivery teams on enablement, tooling, and best practices for the delivery of AI services solutions.
  • Track, monitor, and forecast overall pipeline and services business growth in the AI services footprint as a key performance indicator of success.
