About The Position
The Director of Service Line Nursing is responsible for overseeing the integration and execution of strategic clinical initiatives across the system-wide Service Line. The role requires expertise in Service Line clinical operations, the ability to manage multiple direct and indirect reports across both the administrative / clinical settings and multiple care locations (e.g. Main, TGH North, USF-TGP, TGMG, etc.). Responsible for developing, monitoring, and supporting the execution of the FHSC Service Line clinical strategies including the development and execution of clinical initiatives across the system. Will serve as the clinical representative for the Service Line across FHSC. Projects and programs will involve driving the development of an expansive hospital, physician and ambulatory network. The role is to proactively initiate and drive Service Line specific quality improvement initiatives and opportunities in collaboration with FHSC Quality, Operations, and Nursing. Will transform current services and foster collaboration among key stakeholders across the Service Line with a focus on clinical and nursing-related integration. This role is responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
