Our domestic brands include RetailMeNot, Offers.com, Blackfriday.com, TechBargains and more. We also run the leading Cash Back, Reward and Coupon codes brand in the UK (Voucher Codes). We are currently looking for a Director of SEO to add to our dynamic team. Ziff Davis Shopping is looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of SEO to lead the organic growth strategy for our portfolio of high-traffic savings brands, including RetailMeNot.com, Offers.com, and BlackFriday.com. As a key leader in our organization, you will drive SEO excellence, leveraging cutting-edge strategies to expand our market leadership in the competitive deal, coupon, and Black Friday space. This is a high-impact role with executive visibility, strong product and engineering support, and the opportunity to shape the future of SEO for some of the most recognized brands in savings. You'll lead a team of SEO experts and collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovation, optimize search performance, and maintain our position at the forefront of organic search. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 8+ years of SEO leadership experience, in-house preferred
• A shared perspective on the 'new SEO' with a strong focus on visibility, conversion, and revenue
• Build a defensible organic audience strategy through current and future Search Engines (Google, Perplexity, Chat GPT, Claude, etc.)
• Extensive experience utilizing leading SEO and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Advanced Web Rankings and Ahrefs
• Strong analytical ability and experience making data-based decisions to generate meaningful insights and business outcomes
• Thrives under pressure when folks look to you for solutions
• Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
• Ability to build trust across cross-functional teams
• Loves working in a fast-paced, interactive environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the overall SEO strategy across Ziff Davis Shopping brands including how the search strategy for each of the individual sites ladders into the bigger picture
• Understand the shopping and e-commerce search space, particularly as it relates to savings and deals consumer behavior
• Serve as the in-house specialist for website page structure, optimizing for organic search and conversion
• Consistently facilitate detailed keyword research to inform the Shopping content strategy and drive ongoing page optimization
• Partner across the Audience Growth org to provide strategic direction for off-site SEO strategy, content development on properties and optimization of existing experiences
• Perform consistent SEO audits and utilize findings to drive measurable requirements for product and engineering teams
• Partner with the BI team to improve analysis of organic search data and drive meaningful insights for the company
• Build trust across cross-functional teams through education, listening to various perspectives and coming from a place of leadership
• Lead and develop a team of SEO professionals through mentorship, regular one-on-ones and feedback
• Support with department budgeting, including staffing, consultants and resource allocation
