About The Position

We are hiring a results-driven Business Development Leader to drive new revenue in Aerospace Engineering Services. This role focuses on acquiring and growing relationships with Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers through solution-based selling. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in closing high-value engineering services deals and building long-term client partnerships. This role requires a strategic, self-motivated professional with a deep understanding of engineering solutions and the aerospace business landscape.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in business development or sales within Engineering Services, in the aerospace or defense sectors.
  • Proven success selling engineering, design, or technology-based services to Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Established relationships within key aerospace accounts and a demonstrated ability to open new doors.
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate engineering capabilities into business value.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Eastern U.S. and as needed internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for engineering services within the aerospace market.
  • Leverage an existing network of Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to expand relationships and drive growth.
  • Develop and execute a sales and business development strategy focused on Engineering Services offerings.
  • Lead solution-based sales by positioning engineering design, analysis, digital, and testing services to meet client needs.
  • Partner closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure technical alignment and seamless execution.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, manage pricing and contract negotiations, and close high-value deals.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer challenges, and competitor offerings to anticipate and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
