About The Position

The Role: As the Director of Physical Security for our PCN South Division, you'll be the driving force behind our strategic vision for security. Based in the dynamic environment of the South Division clinics, you'll partner with our executive team and key leaders to ensure the safety of our patients, visitors, and medical staff. Reporting to the Executive Director of Emergency Preparedness, you'll lead long-range planning and oversee the development, direction, and implementation of the Physical Security Program.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or Organizational Management—or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years in physical security, safety, or law enforcement within a multidisciplinary team, with 5 years managing security professionals.
  • Skills: Exceptional integrity, sound judgment, and strong organizational and cognitive skills. Ability to translate strategic directions into tactical plans and tools. Knowledge of security risk management practices and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Within two years of hire, obtain certification in Physical Security such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Security Leadership: Lead a dedicated physical security team, ensuring seamless execution of the security program. Drive transformation initiatives and advocate for operational efficiencies to reduce risks and optimize service delivery.
  • Program Management: Coordinate and manage the security strategy and initiatives, monitoring progress to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Develop and implement the Security Maturity Management program, tracking and enhancing the maturity of our security posture.
  • Service Management: Develop and maintain processes for effective delivery of security services. Lead the creation and management of a Security Service Catalog, ensuring Caregiver awareness and engagement with our services.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Lead the development of reporting and analytics tools to monitor and manage the organization’s security posture. Establish and track Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to drive performance and improvement.
