About The Position

The Director, Scientific Communication & Content Strategy Lead for CV and Cell & Gene Therapy at Bayer is responsible for translating scientific data into effective communication, education, and training materials. This role involves identifying gaps in brand communications and recommending strategies to support medical and brand imperatives. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite work 2-3 days a week at the Whippany, NJ headquarters.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D.) in a scientific discipline.
• Experience in scientific communications and/or medical writing in a related field.
• Proven ability to interpret scientific and clinical trial data for various audiences.
• Understanding of good publication practices and their implications.
• Knowledge of the drug development process and global regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Experience in building effective working relationships across functions and geographies.
• Ability to travel up to 20% for meetings and conferences.

Nice To Haves

• Cardiovascular or C> training/experience.
• Minimum of five years' industry experience.
• Knowledge in oncology related to Bayer's portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, development, and implementation of global workshops and advisory boards for scientific education programs.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment with partner companies in the C> space.
• Develop and implement global congress strategies for data presentation and scientific education programs.
• Participate in the planning, reviewing, and editing of scientific abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts.
• Direct the development of internal scientific communications for global dissemination of new product information.
• Plan and develop core medical materials for local implementation, ensuring consistency in messaging across products.
• Develop and maintain global training platforms and materials to align with the latest scientific developments.
