Role & Responsibilities
As the Director of School Operations at Bold, you will drive a culture of achievement that actualizes Bold’s vision for a world-class K-12 public education—preparing every student to succeed at the highest levels in college and beyond. You will join a team guided by the belief that building world-class schools depends on delivering operational excellence and lead a team to ensure that school operations are executed at the highest level across the organization.
To help us achieve our vision, we are searching for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of school leadership experience in a high-performing K-12 setting. Ideal candidates will have a solutions-oriented mindset, the ability to coach teams to high levels of achievement, and a foundational belief that every child can succeed when we create a culture that holds everyone—team, students, and families— to high expectations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of school leadership experience in a high-performing K-12 setting, with a proven track record of success
• Bachelor's degree required

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of lead teaching/academic leadership experience preferred
• Graduate degree in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply a deep understanding of Bold’s goals, vision, and values to build a culture of purpose and impact
• Lead and develop a high-performing school operations function to achieve ambitious results, ensuring high levels of collaboration, alignment, and support across the school
• Design and lead professional learning cycles that accelerate team development and impact
• Strategically manage priorities, communicating regularly and effectively with stakeholders, and demonstrating a high level of ownership and accountability
• Develop strong relationships that meaningfully invest team members in collaborating to achieve shared, ambitious outcomes

• The starting salary range for this position is $130-150,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
