About The Position

Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Sales Specialist based out of our New York or Chicago offices. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for leading new business and cross sell sales efforts for Fitch Solutions Accounts in the United States. This fast-paced role will create and execute a sales strategy focused on our various offerings into existing global accounts. Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales role, preferably as a Sales Specialist or similar.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and other relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is usually preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with potential new customers to drive sales.
  • Nurture strong relationships with clients to maintain loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  • Understand and promote company products and/or services.
  • Conduct market research and stay abreast of competitor positioning.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving customer queries or complaints.
  • Actively participate in sales team meetings and provide insights for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective strategies for promoting products or services.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients.
  • Handle negotiations and close sales deals effectively, meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals
