About the position

Salesloft is looking for a Commercial Sales Director to lead a team of high-performing Account Executives within our commercial business segment. This role involves coaching the Sales Executive team to meet quota and booking targets, while collaborating with various business units to achieve budgeted revenue and KPI goals. The ideal candidate will drive productivity and efficiency improvements through innovation, new technologies, skill set training, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage an Account Executive team.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales Development, Sales Operations, and Product teams.
  • Drive productivity and efficiency improvements for the team.
  • Oversee Account Executives and help them educate the market about Salesloft.
  • Generate opportunities with new customers.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and forecast sales pipeline.
  • Hire, develop, coach, and manage a strong team of Sales Executives.
  • Participate in team-building and company-growth activities.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of sales leadership experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Expert knowledge in building and motivating sales teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan daily and weekly activities for an inside sales team.
  • Highly driven and proactive individual with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Experience as a team-building leader capable of rallying support.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred experience with Sales Engagement Technology.
