Join Aon’s Risk Capital Analytics team and play an important role in shaping the future of our Commercial Risk Broking and Consulting! You will enable our brokers consultants, and account executives to engage with our clients and support them in meeting their goals through enriched client experiences! This position will flex from the most mundane to the most exciting. It will be important that the colleague in this role is motivated by the vision, and able to complete the tactical elements as required. Reporting to the Head of Risk Analytics, Commercial Risk NA, you will work as part of a small cohort of high—performing change agents working closely with the Commercial Risk broking teams, the NA Account Executive teams, and various other adjacent partners to effect transformation of how we ‘show-up’ for clients, with advanced analytics embedded in our broking product. What the day will look like When fully embraced, this role will provide unmatched access and visibility to broking, account executive, marketing, and sales functions across the commercial risk organization. This will occur through deep engagement in the strategy and execution of our commercial risk priority to Differentiate with Analytics. You will work to: Embed advanced analytics practices across the North American broking, consulting, and client executive teams. Develop expertise and communicate at both a high level and at deeply detailed level, our differentiation and distinctive risk analytics value proposition in partnership with our Risk Analytics Product teams. Drive elevation of our product offering by providing technical instruction, message training, client interaction, supporting and participating in orals presentations, supporting written responses to RFPs, and ultimately, public speaking opportunities. Embody a ‘lighthouse effect’ in how we show up to our clients, Differentiating with Analytics: Change how our clients, colleagues and competitors perceive Aon in how we show up as a firm to enable our clients to make informed decisions on risk. Role model fully harnessing analytics proposition in broking and client management across the client engagement cycle. Support marketing activities and campaigns, major events, and colleague and client facing symposia all with the aim of promoting Aon’s reputation for excellence in Analytics, supporting growth and retention in our core business. Engage broking leadership in continual assessment and change management efforts in imbedding Risk Analytics proposition in how we Differentiate with Analytics at Aon. Directly execute key elements of Risk Analytics proposition embedment strategy in the organization Player-Coach community development Risk Analytics Champion community development Value proposition refinement and evolving embedment in key activities Work alongside our Risk Analytics Learning & Development team to develop deliver professionalized technical training content to key stakeholder communities allowing for us to fully deliver and exploit the Risk Analytics proposition, consistent with our strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of demonstrated ability in the insurance industry within broking, finance and analytics
  • Conversant in insurance and risk topics, specifically understanding the underpinnings of insurance, risk quantification, and risk finance decision-making.
  • An orientation to Corporate CFO/Treasurer/Financial Leader’s mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Risk Management, Business Administration, Data Science or a related field.
