Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Respiratory Care leadership team in the role of Director -Respiratory Care. The Director - Respiratory Care provides administrative decision making, leadership and strategic planning including the efficient and productive use of personnel, material and financial resources for assigned hospital. This director establishes policy and direction (programs and services) for department and is accountable for department results. The leader's responsibilities include the efficient and purposeful integration of services with other areas and emerging delivery systems and accountability for driving preeminence throughout the assigned areas. Preeminence is being acknowledged as a leader in quality, clinical care, education and research by your peers. This director acts as a partner of the IU Health leadership team and participates in the strategic planning and the attainment of goals. Requirements

• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, i.e. Business.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience required.
• Requires graduation from a CoARC accredited respiratory care program.
• Requires current Indiana license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Requires RRT credential by the NBRC.
• Requires knowledge of state and national regulatory agency guidelines.
• Requires demonstrated leadership skills (inspiring, problem solving, communication across multiple organizations, executing).

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Business or related field preferred.
