About The Position

The Director of Reporting & Analytics at Molina Healthcare is a pivotal leadership role responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and organizing data into actionable reports for management decision-making. This position involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying reports to provider networks and other end users, supporting operational and strategic analysis across the organization. The director will collaborate with senior executives to determine reporting needs and will manage functional departments while ensuring quality assurance and adherence to service level benchmarks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Analytics field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Reporting and Analytics.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Health Care Industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical degree or advanced IT degree or advanced public health or health care administration degree preferred.
  • Experience with Care Management Analytics.
  • Familiarity with Azure Databricks.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
  • Experience with Clinic Systems - CCA.
  • Knowledge of CM, UM, Claims, or Authorizations.

Responsibilities

  • Collects, validates, analyzes, and organizes data into meaningful reports for management decision making.
  • Designs, develops, tests, and deploys reports to provider networks and other end users.
  • Works with senior executives, Vice Presidents, and AVPs to determine reporting and analysis needs.
  • Manages functional departments, mentoring and coaching staff on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Sets goals and plans for reporting and analysis business units in alignment with the operating plan, budget, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establishes direction for reporting design, nomenclature, approach, and requirements gathering.
  • Implements end-user communication protocols, release schedules, and change management processes.
  • Oversees the reporting quality assurance process to minimize end-user errors.
  • Responsible for report change management processes and timely reporting of risk areas.
  • Functions as a subject matter expert on finance and analytics topics, teaching financial/technical information.
  • Escalates project gaps to VP and senior management when identified.
  • Implements strategies to meet service level benchmarks for report turnaround.
