About The Position
The Tax Director - Renewables Partnership Reporting at Avangrid is a pivotal role that provides tactical leadership and oversight to a team of skilled tax professionals. This position is responsible for the company's tax reporting, compliance, and tax-related financing deliverables specifically within the renewables sector. The director will focus on delivering value-added, high-quality tax information to both internal and external customers while mentoring and developing team members in the Renewables and tax departments. The role also involves supporting the implementation of tools and process enhancements aimed at increasing organizational effectiveness. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers is essential for success in this position. The role is hybrid, allowing for some remote work, and reports directly to the VP of Tax. The position requires travel ranging from 1 to 4 weeks, emphasizing the need for flexibility and adaptability in managing responsibilities related to tax accounting and reporting for partnerships, limited liability companies, and other renewable energy entities. Experience with tax equity partnerships, credits/incentives, and HLBV accounting is highly desired.
