As the Director of Relationship Management at BNY, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of client relationships within the Clearance and Collateral Management team. This position is based in New York, NY, and operates in a hybrid work environment, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic account plans aimed at managing and expanding existing client relationships. You will serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, providing insights and recommendations to help them achieve both short- and long-term objectives. In this role, you will identify opportunities for incremental revenue growth by evolving client business and promoting the firm’s services and product offerings that address client challenges. You will manage the overall profitability of client relationships, which may vary in complexity, ensuring that you maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and the client’s business environment. Your proactive approach will involve continually evaluating client needs and ensuring sustained engagement. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, tracking, and reporting on the relationship strategy and results for your assigned client portfolio. You will also contribute to the development of team metrics, dashboards, and roadmaps, ensuring that the team is aligned with the overall strategic goals of the organization. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and a strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in areas such as Securities Finance, Repo, Liquidity Solutions, Clearance, or Prime Brokerage.
