About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Provides leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of the Rehabilitation Services departments. Responsible for managing and directing the rehabilitation services product line administrative functions, including strategic and operational planning for the areas of responsibility, including staffing and directing personnel. Provides mechanism for ensuring quality care, issue resolution, orientation, and ongoing competency of personnel. Responsible for planning and maintaining materials, equipment and supplies necessary for employees to perform their job, and to provide competitive, cost effective service to patients and physicians. Plans and markets programs and services to medical staff, health center and community. Maintains active communication among medical staff, health center leadership, and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology
- Three years clinical hospital experience
- Current Kansas Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathologist license
- Basic Life Support certification will be accepted from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider), or successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment
Nice To Haves
- Masters or Doctorate degree in therapy field preferred
- Two years management experience preferred
