About The Position

The Director, Regal Rexnord Business System is responsible for driving organizational change and process improvement within the Motion Control Systems Division. This role focuses on the implementation and maturity of the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS) to enhance profitable growth through customer focus and operational efficiency. The position requires collaboration with senior leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement and achieve both short and long-term business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field required; Advanced degree preferred (MS Engineering, MBA).
  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience in Continuous Improvement, Operations, and General Management.
  • Project and program management expertise (PMP, Prince II preferred).
  • Proficiency in change management frameworks and application.
  • Technical background in continuous improvement methodology (Lean Six Sigma BlackBelt preferred).
  • Proven successful applications of multiple CI tools: Lean Leadership, Daily Management, KPI Leadership, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate Kaizen-type events for measurable improvements.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to identify problems and interpret data.
  • Leadership skills to develop and mentor cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization in achieving SQDCG and financial objectives through effective application of RBS tools and methodologies.
  • Develop, lead, and drive the Continuous Improvement (CI) Roadmap for the division and support alignment across sites.
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members on continuous improvement methods based on subject matter expertise.
  • Lead and coach multiple projects and Kaizen events simultaneously.
  • Work with the AMC RBS team to develop and communicate a future vision for the business.
  • Identify, coach, and develop talent across the division to leverage RBS tools and methodologies.
  • Lead problem-solving for complex issues requiring creativity and strong analytical skills.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the division's strategic plan and policy deployment activities.
