About The Position

The Director of Radiology and Cardiology Services provides leadership, supervision and coordinates department activities, ensuring safety to both patients and staff. Directs all human resource functions of the department with include; overseeing training and ensures staff competencies, ensures safe staffing levels. Coordinates and implements policies and procedures, develops budgets, meets organizational and patient safety goals and ensures regulatory compliance in all departments and modalities. The Director ensures ongoing monitoring of departmental indicators and PI activities, reports activities as directed. The Director responds to the needs of the department by performing radiology technologist duties when needed.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or Graduate of an JCERT accredited program in radiologic technology.
  • Knowledge of all Radiology modalities preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions.
  • Previous experience as a radiology technologist. Cardiac Cath & Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Current state license and ARRT-R required.
  • Current Basic Life Support /BCLS (AHA) certification required.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Cardiac Cath & Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
