The BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS) Business Unit is a $3.5B unit within BD which creates and delivers solutions for end to end medication safety, inventory optimization, and clinician efficiency across the care continuum. Key brands include BD Pyxis, BD Alaris, Parata, BD ROWA and BD HealthSight. Our focus is on making the medication management simpler, safer and smarter. Quote to Cash (QTC) Director (JG6) is responsible for optimizing the entire end-to-end process, from initial product design & sales quotes to final billing, revenue recognition and collection, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. This leadership role involves managing QTC systems, collaborating with various departments (Platform, Contracts, Legal, Sales, Finance, GBS, IT), improving processes, developing metrics, and ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems like CRM and ERP. Key activities include identifying root causes for existing inefficiencies, developing and implementing efficient processes for invoicing and collections, implementing changes to drive permanent improvement, designing scalable solutions, supporting implementation of new monetization models, and supporting roadmaps to drive business growth, improve cashflow and enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of relevant experience within a multinational business.
  • Extensive experience in AR, contracts, QTC management
  • Strong system/technical skills: SAP, CRM, Excel
  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge of accounts receivable processes, accounting principles, financial reporting, quantitative analysis
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of sales operations, contracting, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) best practices, and financial processes
  • Demonstrated strong skills in leadership, cross-functional collaboration, strategic thinking, problem-solving
  • Possess strong negotiation, problem-solving, and time management skills to oversee QTC workflow, manage disputes, and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment collection
  • Action oriented: demonstrated ability to drive results/outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Define appropriate benchmarks for AR performance measurement (e.g., DSO, AR Aging, AR Turnover Ratio, % Current AR). Analyse trends, prepares regular financial reports on collections and cash flow, and provides forecasts to senior management.
  • Lead Problem Solving Process to improve AR processes and influence MMS business practices (asset management, contracts, etc)
  • Execute Problem Solving Process and Kaizen Events for targeted customer
  • Partner with and support GBS to develop and implement efficient AR policies and procedures, champions continuous improvement initiatives, and leverages technology to streamline operations.
  • Partner with cross functional teams (Platforms, Contracts, Legal, Sales, Finance, GBS, IT) to define future technology needs to modernize and improve AR operations
  • Partner with external partners as needed
