About The Position
The Director of Quality Resources oversees the Quality Management System program for the assigned hospital, ensuring alignment with the SHS Quality and Patient Safety Management System policy and SHS metric dashboard. Utilizing HRO principles, this role guides and advises departmental quality and process improvement activities as directed by system Quality and Safety priorities. The Director also oversees the infection prevention program and coordinates onsite/virtual regulatory surveys as directed by the Chief Quality Officer. Collaboration with various departments such as Patient Safety, Clinical Risk, Patient Experience, Quality Outcomes and Reporting, Risk Management, Infection Prevention, Utilization Review, and Compliance is essential. The Director leads the quality team in translating data insights into performance improvement opportunities to enhance the overall quality of care in alignment with SHS metric priorities and domains.
