As a Director in our Healthcare & Life Sciences sector, you will take an active role in promoting the day-to-day management ofâ¯our public affairsâ¯client accounts. This person will align withâ¯all aspects ofâ¯bothâ¯the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector, as well as our Public Affairs team.â¯FTI Consulting's Public Affairsâ¯teamâ¯brings together policy, communications, advocacy, and reputational engagement to support and advance our clients'â¯business goals and objectives. As a successful Director, you will lead strategic efforts across account teams, managing both up and down to ensure alignment with client goals and expectations.â¯You will provide high-level counsel on public policy, legislative strategy, communications and advocacy engagement, helping clients navigate complex political and regulatory landscapes. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing integrated communications strategies that support our clients' policy objectives, drafting compelling materials such as advocacy plans, strategy and policy memos,â¯press releases, and briefing documents, and preparing clients for high-stakes engagements with media, policymakers, and a broad range of internal and external stakeholder audiences.â¯And you will work in partnership with our early career professionals in bringing these efforts to life. You will track, monitor, and offer insights on policy (federal, state, and/or local) developments, peer positioning, industry and market dynamics, media coverage, and reporting, and more - translating these developments into actionable communications and engagement strategies.
