About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Director, Provider Engagement develops and grows positive, long-term relationships with physicians, providers and healthcare systems in order to support and improve financial and quality performance within the contracted working relationship with the health plan. The Director, Provider Engagement requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment. The Director, Provider Engagement represents the scope of health plan/provider relationship across such areas as financial performance, incentive programs, quality and clinical management, population health, data sharing, connectivity, documentation and coding, HEDIS and STARs performance, operational improvements and other areas as they relate to provider performance, member experience, market growth, provider experience and operational excellence. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and develops/implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, finance, medical economics and/or provider network management
• 3+ years of experience HEDIS/Stars experience, with proficiency in quality improvement processes, analyzing and interpreting trends
• Demonstrated success directing and leading teams
• Strong relationship building skills
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to travel
• Bachelor’s degree
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
