The Director, Project Management serves as a Program Director within the Enterprise Project Management (EPM) organization, with primary responsibility for enterprise process improvement initiatives, Standard Operating Model (SOM) governance, and complex cross‑functional programs. This role leads large, multi‑workstream programs that span Operations, Technology, and Revenue Cycle functions, ensuring initiatives are delivered in alignment with EPM governance standards, SOM requirements, and business priorities. The Director brings strong project and program management expertise, end‑to‑end (E2E) Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) knowledge, and a continuous improvement mindset. Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt preferred) is highly valued.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Project or Program Management, preferably in healthcare or complex service organizations.
  • Strong end‑to‑end (E2E) Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) expertise required.
  • Proven experience leading large, cross‑functional programs with multiple dependencies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PMO / EPM governance models and structured delivery frameworks.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives.
  • Healthcare services, revenue cycle outsourcing, or large-scale operational environments preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Program & Project Leadership Lead enterprise-level programs and complex initiatives from intake through execution and closure, ensuring alignment to EPM governance and SOM standards.
  • Oversee scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide clear, concise program status reporting and recommendations to executive and senior leadership.
  • EPM / SOM Process Improvement Drive process optimization initiatives using EPM and SOM frameworks to improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Identify gaps in current workflows and lead efforts to standardize and simplify processes across teams.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, tools, and templates.
  • Revenue Cycle Expertise Apply end‑to‑end Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) expertise to initiatives impacting front‑end, mid‑cycle, and back‑end operations.
  • Partner with Operations, Technology, and Client Delivery leaders to ensure solutions are operationally viable and sustainable.
  • Stakeholder & Team Leadership Lead and mentor project managers and program team members assigned to enterprise initiatives.
  • Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, and working sessions.
  • Act as a key liaison between business, operations, and technology stakeholders.
