The Director will serve as a primary point of contact for MTA Audit Services and MTA Corporate Compliance, ensuring effective communication and coordination during audit processes. This position is located in the President's Office under Corporate Performance and will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Audits. In this role, the Director will coordinate and lead discussions between the auditing team and MTA C&D staff during the investigatory phase of audits. They will support MTA C&D staff in responding to inquiries and fulfilling requests for information, which includes the collection, delivery, and retention of requested records. The Director will work closely with MTA C&D staff to validate audit findings, identify contributing factors, and ensure that proposed corrective actions are actionable and aligned with current business strategies, organizational structure, and workflows. They will prepare bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and on-demand reports, briefings, and presentations for MTA C&D leadership, supporting quarterly reporting on the status of active audit recommendations to the MTA Board and MTA Office of the Inspector General.
