About The Position
The Director, Programs at the Clean Power Institute (CPI) plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering high-impact programming that builds a more inclusive and prepared clean energy workforce and productive industry. As a relatively new nonprofit, CPI is evolving its core areas of focus, and this leadership role requires adaptability and a willingness to develop and implement project plans across a variety of fields, including those unfamiliar and ambiguous in nature. We are seeking candidates with exceptional instincts in building relationships with skeptical others, thoughtful and thorough problem analysis and solution development, and proven ability to design and implement programming independently with attention to detail. The ideal leader is deeply curious, skilled at facilitation, loves diving into thorny problems, and willing to contribute at all levels to advance CPI’s goals.
