The Performance BU strategizes and provides digital activation services for global advertisers in over 57+ markets around the world with the aim of delivering the optimal outcome. Our Performance Centre of Excellence drives performance solutions across several channels including social, search, programmatic, commerce and affiliates. We have 30 different nationalities in our teams and work closely with teams from Google, Meta, TradeDesk and Amazon to deliver innovative solutions that help deliver business results to our clients. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Programmatic Product Manager to join our team. This role oversees the entire lifecycle of the agency's programmatic products, from the initial stages of ideation through to successful launch and ongoing post-launch management. The candidate will work closely with the Head of Product Strategy to fuel the development and enhancement of the product suite, bringing deep subject matter expertise and an understanding of emerging trends to define new features. The product manager will coordinate the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on market research to align with business goals. A strong emphasis on agile methodologies and agile process implementation is essential for this role. Successful applicants are expected to manage multiple projects, partners and time zones, making it key for them to have strong project management and organization skills. This role requires the ability to both work in startup-like environments and within a large matrixed organization. You will need to be a quick learner, self-starter, pro-active and can work autonomously.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, from an agency background.
  • Solid understanding of programmatic marketing principles, protocols, the latest trends and product roadmaps.
  • Proficiency using major DSPs and their proprietary tools: DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills, to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment across various teams and time zones, with a strong bias for action and delivery.
  • Outstanding project management skills to break down tasks, simplify product roadmaps, establish owners and timelines, and status reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating and leading cross-functional teams to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Solid technical proficiency and a comprehensive understanding of product development processes and methodologies.
  • Detail oriented, with a proven track record of shipping product on time and within budget.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills to guide teams and reach agreement with collaborators.
  • Proficiency conducting market research and analyzing findings to inform product decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with custom bidding, algorithmic optimization, or data marketplaces.
  • Background in agency, media, or SaaS product development.
  • Hands-on experience with DV360, TTD, or other DSPs.
  • Excellent skills in Jira or similar agile project management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including tech, engineering, marketing and sales to ensure seamless execution.
  • Serve as the main connection between the technical team and internal collaborators, to guarantee a clear grasp of product functionality, benefits, and requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, educating and guiding technical team, enablement team and product marketing team on complex programmatic concepts, product benefits and use cases, providing training and gathering feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
  • Articulate and effectively communicate the product roadmap, present feature updates and assist with scaling and onboarding.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of programmatic platforms, competitor landscape, industry guidelines, emerging trends and the evolving application of AI and LLM in programmatic marketing.
  • Leverage knowledge to collaborate with the Head of Product Strategy to define new features and enhancements for the platform.
  • Work with tech lead and engineering teams (offshore) to plan, develop and deploy products on time and within scope.
  • Foster an agile environment, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and stand-ups.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team always works on the most impactful tasks.
  • Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure full understanding of the tech team on the domain requirements.
  • Work closely with the QA team to ensure that the deliverables meet the quality standards and that user experiences are consistent.
  • Ensure fluid and rapid communication in case of issues, scope changes, estimation inaccuracy or any other situations that could have an impact on the delivery of the team.
