About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated and driven Program Director to grow and manage the execution of the NextGen Tactical Data Links (Link 16) business area. The Program Director will lead a team responsible for the overall cost, schedule, and technical performance of a portfolio of development, production, and repair/retrofit programs. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and program management skills, a growth mindset, and the ability to partner and achieve results through cross-functional teams. The Program Director should also have excellent analytical and communication skills while having the ability to drive organizational change and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 15 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 13 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.

  • Experience managing cross-functional product-based programs for the Government, DoD Primes, and International Customers

  • Experience with multiple phases of the program capture & execution lifecycle (Bid & Proposal, Development, Production, Sustainment)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team responsible for the P&L execution of the NGEN TDL annual operating plan through a portfolio of programs and projects
  • Develops the strategic vision and roadmap for the NGEN TDL business area
  • Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives
  • Manage a high-performance team to include talent acquisition, team development, and performance management
  • Serve as the primary contact for the NGEN TDL business area for L3Harris and customers including the Government, Prime Contractors, and International customers
  • Has full P&L accountability for financial performance and forecasting
  • Lead development and implementation of risk and change management programs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
