The Director - Governance & Reporting lead will work as part of the GBS Integrated PMO team overseeing the portfolio of transformation projects, focusing on governance, reporting, adoption of processes and tools, and facilitation of leadership forums. The role involves collaboration with governance and integrated planning team members in Hyderabad (Hyd). The Governance Lead is responsible for overseeing and enhancing program governance by facilitating key program-level meetings, managing RAIDD items and appropriate escalations, and driving the adoption of standardized project management methodologies. Additionally, they ensure continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and refining governance processes to maintain consistent program performance and alignment.

  • Uphold processes around decision pathways, escalation pathways, and 'handshake' between initiative teams, TMO, and horizontal capabilities
  • Uphold and promote project management methodologies, standards and ways of working, ensuring uniformity within each Horizontal COE
  • Facilitate weekly program-level governance meetings and associated status reporting
  • Collate key RAIDD items across the program and drive resolution of escalations at the cross-initiative level
  • Capture and socialize lessons learned
  • Monitor program performance through regular updates to pre-defined metrics
  • Understand & monitor project business case(s)
  • Define and drive adoption of future state governance processes as required
  • Maintain the Initiative Playbook to support integration of new initiatives into GBS program
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with initiative PMs, initiative Leads, TMO, and horizontal COEs
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Critical thinking and analytical abilities
  • Executive presence and presentation skills
  • Experience managing or overseeing larger, global, multi-year projects with larger teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of tools
  • Proficiency in planning tools (e.g., Planview) (preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot (preferred)
