About The Position

The Director, PM Business Systems leads the development and execution of project management standards, governance, tools, and best practices across the organization. This role ensures projects are delivered consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with strategic business objectives, while providing visibility and coordination across the project portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 5–10+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years in PMO leadership or senior PM roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects or portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage PMO standards, methodologies, templates, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Oversee the project portfolio to ensure prioritization, resource alignment, and strategic focus.
  • Support and coach project managers on planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Deliver clear, standardized project reporting and dashboards for leadership.
  • Implement and manage risk, issue, and escalation processes.
  • Own and optimize PMO tools and systems (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project).
