About The Position

The Director of Program Management and PMO at Crane Payment Innovations (CPI) is responsible for leading strategic, cross-functional programs that align with business goals and ensure timely delivery. This role involves managing multiple concurrent programs, establishing governance frameworks, and driving collaboration across various stakeholders to optimize efficiency and reduce time-to-market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • PMP certification required; CSM or Agile certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in program management or PMO leadership within technical or engineering-focused industries.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Expertise in resource management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and other program management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of self-service retail, IoT, SaaS, or payment systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%, including internationally).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of strategic, cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.
  • Manage the lifecycle of multiple concurrent programs, balancing scope, budget, and resources.
  • Drive coordination across stakeholders, including engineering, product management, marketing, and operations.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring programs remain on track and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, including reporting structures, resource tracking, and issue resolution processes.
  • Develop and standardize best practices for project and program management across the organization.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align resource allocation with strategic priorities and market demands.
  • Continuously improve tools, templates, and workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
  • Provide regular updates on program status, progress, and risks to senior leadership.
  • Align program execution with long-term product and business strategies, ensuring customer needs and market trends are addressed.
  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
